HHS awards more than $96 million in behavioral health grants
The Department of Health and Human Services yesterday announced that it will award $96.7 million in grants through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for various behavioral health services. The grants will support a range of programs, including initiatives for individuals experiencing serious mental illness who are homeless, suicide prevention and early intervention, substance use disorder treatment, training and technical assistance, peer support and disaster-related emotional support.
