AHA releases new resource on disability health, launches listening sessions

The AHA has released a new issue brief designed to help hospitals and health systems strengthen disability competence and improve patient outcomes. The AHA is hosting a series of listening sessions to gather insights from hospital leaders, clinicians, caregivers, community partners, individuals living with disabilities and other stakeholders. The first session takes place Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. ET and focuses on clinical care delivery.
